Want more information about the services we offer?
We recently ran our 2025 staff engagement survey. We aim to be as open as possible with our staff, and encourage feedback whenever we can. Our 2025 survey was the first time that we’ve embraced technology to drive engagement, and the results haven’t disappointed.
The survey, which is part of our new engagement cycle consisting of a full annual survey and quarterly pulse surveys, is intended to obtain a snapshot of how the staff are feeling. We are delighted to say that 87% of respondents feel that their managers care about them as a person, 81% feel encouraged to shared ideas and 84% stating that the mission of the services makes them feel like their job is important.
When asked what the best part of working here is, some of the responses were:
“Making a difference in the lives of those we care for.”
“The best part is being able to speak about any concerns regarding the care of our residents, I feel comfortable raising concerns with nursing staff and managers. I feel we have a safe environment.”
“Good team work and management”
“Patients, staff team”
We’ve introduced a new metric, employer Net Promoter Score (eNPS), for our new survey cycle. This helps us to see whether people would recommend us as a place to work. It was very pleasing to see that our first eNPS score was +31. This is compared to a sector average eNPS score of -44, which shows we’re doing a lot right and our staff are in a good place.
We’re looking forward to celebrating more success which we’ll be sharing on this blog. Well done to all staff and the management team on creating such a positive working environment!
