Welcome to the Christmas edition of our blog!
We’ve been having lots of fun activities and events this December at both homes.
We’ve had an evening of Christmas music for residents and their families.
A brass band has visited playing some festive classics.
A Christmas singer has performed at Oak View.
Residents participated in a Christmas baking session.
Oak View had their Christmas party.
We’ve had Christmas craft sessions and a pottery session led by one of our nurses.
Residents went to visit GiGi’s for their Christmas fayre, they also attended Waunarllwyd Community Centre’s Christmas party.
Some special visitors from Will’s Petting Zoo attended Moorland with donkeys, llamas and more providing a wonderful sensory experience for our residents.
A vicar attended Moorland on Friday 19th to do a Christmas Service with staff and residents. We’re also planning a Christmas karaoke session and party this week.
It’s been a delightful few weeks and our residents have had a fantastic time.
